Kim Adams 3rd Dan Jun ShidoinKim Adams has been practicing karate since 1979, his Training began in Hereford. He was introduced to and began training with Shihan Tom Beardsley. In 2000 he was awarded his 1st Dan by Hanshi Paul Mitchell who also graded him to 2nd Dan in 2002. Kim Was promoted to 3rd Dan in 2005 by Sensei Paul Mitchell. Kim was a student of the late Master Kimura Shigeru along with Sensei Tom Beardsley who attended many courses held by Sensei Kimura.Kim teaches and promotes traditional Karate and Kata with bunkia, Along with modern self-defence and unarmed combat techniques for today's modern society In Aug 2006 Kim went to Japan to train under Sensei Kawata Shigemasa 9th Dan Kaicho and gained his Jun Shidoin qualification ilizane Broks 2nd Danilizane began training in 1996 at the early age of 11 in the welsh town of Hay on Wye, where Sensei Kim Adams runs a small Dojo. At the age of 14 she was selected to become part of the Samurai Junior Squad where she was able to take part in some major tournaments around England. ilizane gained her Shodan Ho in 2001 and full Shodan in 2002In 2002 she was picked to represent Samurai England in Berlin where she fought through several rounds to win bronze with much success. ilizane gained her 2nd Dan under Paul Mitchell 7th Dan in 2005. She has recently taken on the role of full time instructorPeter Howells 2nd DanPeter Howells has been practicing karate since 1985 under the watchful eye of sensei Tom Beardsley and sensei Phil Powell, Peter graded to Shodan with sensei Kimura Shigeru 8th Dan in March 1991 and continued with his training till 1994 then again returned in 2004 to train with sensei Kim Adams and Sensei Tom Beardsley in Hay on Wye and Hereford. Peter graded to Nidan in oct 2006 under Hanshi Paul Mitchell Peter is now a full time sub instructor assisting sensei Kim Adams Jake Adams 1st Dan Assistant Instructor Jake started his training under sensei Jim Whittington 4th Dan and then under the watchful eye sensei Tom Beardsley Jake graded to Jnr Shodan in Oct 2000 and senior Shodan in Oct 2006 and is now assisting his father in hay-on-wye and Abergavenny In 2002 Jake was picked and competed in Berlin the team walked away with a host of medals In 2007 Jake was selected for Australia in which the team was very sucessfull Charles Billington 1st Dan Assistant Instructor Charles has been training at Hay-On-Wye under the watchful eye of Sensei Kim Adams since September 2000 and worked his way through the grades to gain his 1st Dan in Oct 2006 under Hanshi Paul Mitchell In 2007 Charles was picked and competed in Australia Thomas Bott 1st Dan Assistant Instructor Thomas has been training at Hay On Wye under the watchfull eye of Sensei Kim Adams since 2001 Thomas has worked his way through the grades to gain his black Shodan Ho in 2007 under Hanshi Paul Michell and graded to shodan in Oct 2008
